Insulated or Non-Insulated?
Read below about our construction styles to decide what is right for you!
Non-insulated
Our most economical option, the non-insulated garage door will offer beauty, a durable construction type, but will not offer temperature control. Made of durable, high-quality steel, it is one layer of steel with a hollow back. This door comes in many styles and colors.
Insulated: Polystyrene Vinyl Back
Our mid-grade insulated door will be our two-layer insulated door. It comes with steel on the front, high-quality insulation on the interior, and layer of vinyl protective backing. This door will add a degree of enhanced durability in comparison to the non-insulated door because of its extra layers, however, it will have a lower insulation factor than the three-layer insulated door.
Insulated: Polystyrene Steel Back (Best Seller!)
This insulated door is our top pick, and for good reason! It is constructed with a layer of steel on the front, high-quality insulation on the interior, and another layer of steel on the back, making it an extremely durable three-layer door. Known for its exceptional strength, this insulation type provides more than enough insulation for most homes and comes in many makes and models.
Insulated: Polyurethane Steel Back (Highest Insulation Factor!)
For those that want extreme temperature control in their garage, this may be the option for you! This three-layer door comes with an extremely high insulation factor and has a layer of steel on the front, premium quality polyurethan insulation on the interior, and another layer of steel on the back for exceptional durability. This door can help reduce energy costs and may be a great choice for garages that are used as a room or workspace. It is important to note that the garage itself will need to be highly insulated for this door to really make a difference.
